Start a Project With SCO CIC

Got the idea? Tell us what is getting in the way.

You may already have the people, the trust and the thing you want to make. The sticking point might be a budget, a contract, an application or simply not having an organisation to put it through. That is the part we can help with.

  • You lead the project and keep its name and direction.
  • We can hold the budget, paperwork, applications and reporting.
  • If a free Sheffield route fits better, we send you there first.

Live projects like Industrial Elements and 09 Murals are the proof of concept.

You lead the project. We hold the awkward bits.

We agree the roles before anything starts. You stay responsible for the creative or community work. SCO CIC takes on the agreed business tasks and keeps the records a funder or partner will expect.

Your Name, Your Direction

The work does not have to become a generic SCO CIC programme. The project lead keeps its identity.

A Written Split of Roles

We agree who owns delivery, money, decisions, reporting and communication before the work gets busy.

An Asset-Locked Home

Any surplus stays in the CIC and supports more community work. It cannot be taken out for private gain.

Already in Use

Industrial Elements, 09 Murals and This Is Us each keep their own character while using SCO CIC's structure.

If there is a good free route, we will point you there.

We try to offer free help wherever we can, and we do not want to duplicate support that already exists in Sheffield. These are good places to start if you need advice, opportunities or funding guidance.
